Positioned in the most spectacular setting imaginable, Torosay Castle was completed in 1858 by the eminent Architect David Bryce in the Scottish Baronial style. Bryce also designed the Bank of Scotland building on the Mound in Edinburgh, and the imposing Fettes College. It is one of the finer examples of his work and possibly one of the few still used as a family home, and open to the public.
