The estate has two holiday cottages,both quite unique and characterful. Gardener's Cottage is located within the formal gardens and Shore Cottage is about half a mile from the castle , situated directly overlooking a little sandy beach, part of the larger Duart Bay. Both cottages are popular and let briskly, so do please use our online availability chart which is updated very regularly to avoid disappointment. The rates for the cottages range from £350 in low season to £525 in high. This rate is for the week and includes VAT, electricity and all bedlinen and towels. We do let the cottages out of season- as a guide a three night let in 2010 would be £150, with a nightly rate thereafter of £35. Please ask about our Christmas and New Year rates info@torosay.com

We do allow well-behaved dogs, but make a small extra charge to cover any additional cleaning which may be needed.

Craignure, the main ferry terminal for Mull, is about one and a half miles away, a five minute drive or twenty five minutes' walk. It has a good selection of places to eat, such as the Craignure Inn, Macgregor's Roadhouse and the Isle of Mull Hotel and Spa home of the recently opened Mull & Iona swimming pool.

You can stock up on food and newspapers in Craignure as you require. Eggs from our lovely Blackrock hens, homemade bread and a selection of our homemade freezer meals (using Torosay produce) are also available to buy from our cafe during opening hours.

We normally let from 4.00p.m Saturday to 10.00a.m the following Saturday.
