SHORE COTTAGE
Is near the private jetty about half a mile from the castle with magnificent views over the bay to Duart Castle and the Argyll mountains beyond. The accommodation comprises 1 twin bedded room, sitting room (with sofa bed), kitchen and bathroom. A cot and high chair are available on request prior to arrival. There is ample parking space beside the cottage.
The cottage is supplied with electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, television, and is heated by a wood burning stove and electric panel heaters. Shore Cottage is completely furnished and equipped, linen and towels are provided, however please note that visitors should bring their own towels for beach and swimming. Laundry facilities are available at extra cost but a large washing line is freely available.
The nearest shop (Post Office) is situated at Craignure from which normal supplies of food can be obtained including milk and petrol. Guests arriving on Saturday should note that shops and petrol stations are only open limited hours on a Sunday. There is a cottage hospital on the Island, and a good complement of G.P.s and District Nurses.
By way of recreation, fishing can be arranged, and there is sea angling, pony trekking, golf and launch trips to Staffa and the Treshnish Islands. There is also the Mull Little Theatre at Dervaig which has a great reputation. Between Easter and October, Caledonian MacBrayne ferries sail daily between Oban and Craignure
